The rules
Verification and AML
Nothing moves until your identity, age and source of funds are verified. These checks keep minors out, stop dirty money at the door and keep your account locked down.
Why do you need to verify me?
Because a casino is a cash business, and cash attracts trouble.
Registration is possible only where your local law permits it, and Canadian rules on age limits, identity checks and anti-money laundering guide everything we do. Those rules require us to know our customers. Verification also stops identity theft, blocks stolen cards instantly and keeps anyone under 19 away from real money play.
Verification works for you too. Verified players get paid fast: most payouts arrive within 1 to 4 hours, and bank wire may need up to 12 hours.
What do you ask about where my money comes from?
For most players, a few questions at sign-up are enough. When deposits grow, or activity changes sharply, we look deeper at your source of funds: the money you are using to play.
Depending on the situation, we may request:
- Recent payslips or a letter from your employer.
- Bank statements showing regular income.
- Documents for a single lump sum, for example an inheritance, the sale of a property or an investment payout.
- Self-employed players: tax documents.
These requests are routine. They are not an accusation. Answering promptly keeps your account running without interruption.
Which documents prove my identity and age?
Before your first deposit, we verify your age and identity, using electronic checks whenever possible. When those aren't enough, we ask for documents. Typical examples:
- Photo identification: a valid government-issued driver's licence or passport that clearly shows your face, full name and date of birth.
- Address: a recent utility bill or bank statement showing your name and home address.
- Payment ownership: for Mastercard or American Express, a picture of the card's front side with the middle digits covered. For Payz (ecoPayz), a screenshot of your account page. For Interac e-Transfer or Bank Wire / Transfer, a bank statement that shows your name and account details.
- A selfie: sometimes, a clear photo of you holding your ID, so we know the document is in the right hands.
Each payment method linked to your account has to be yours. Deposits from, or withdrawals to, accounts held by someone else are not accepted.
Alongside identity, we check where you are connecting from before any deposit is accepted.
Do checks stop once I am verified?
No. Verification is a starting line, not a finish line.
Our systems watch account activity on an ongoing basis. We look for patterns such as:
- Big or fast deposits that don't fit your normal play.
- Money deposited and then withdrawn with very little play in between.
- Several accounts linked to a single person, a single device or a single payment method.
- Logins from unexpected locations.
If something stands out, we may refresh your documents or ask fresh questions about your funds. We may also look again at your details when your documents expire or your circumstances change.
What happens when verification falls short?
We keep it simple and fair, but firm.
Withdrawals are paused until checks are complete. If documents are missing, unclear or don't match your account, we'll tell you what we need and give you the chance to send it.
Still unable to confirm your identity, your age, where you play from or the source of your funds? We can limit your account, block new deposits or shut it down. If we suspect fraud, money laundering or underage play, we may cancel the affected bets, hold back winnings and pass the case to the relevant Canadian authorities. Every step is spelled out in our Terms & Conditions.
Do you check if I hold public office or sit on a sanctions list?
Yes. Every account is screened against sanctions lists and against registers of politically exposed persons (PEPs): anyone in a senior public position now or in the past.
That screening extends to people close to them, like family members and business associates. Being a PEP won't block you from playing. It just means a closer look at your funds and activity.
If your name appears on a sanctions list, you can't register or keep an account here. Screening runs at sign-up and again every time the lists change.
What records do you keep and who do you report to?
We keep records of your identity documents, verification results, transactions and our checks for the period Canadian law requires. They are stored securely and handled under our Privacy Notice.
Under Canadian law, we must report certain transactions to the relevant authorities, along with any activity we suspect is tied to money laundering or the financing of terrorism. The same law forbids us from telling a player they are the subject of a report. We won't confirm. We won't deny.
How do I send documents or ask a question?
Send documents or questions by email to [email protected]. Use sharp colour photos, not cropped, showing every corner of the document. Blurry or altered files slow the process.
Or drop a line to [email protected]. We'll let you know once your documents land, and again the moment checks are done.
